We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisorto oversee daily operations in our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a background in the food industry, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Duties
Supervise daily operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling standards.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality control throughout.
Manage Point of Sale (POS) systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Lead and motivate team members to achieve operational goals and maintain high customer service standards.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members.
Train employees on restaurant procedures, food preparation techniques, and customer service best practices.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with upper management to implement policies and procedures that enhance efficiency.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
Strong supervisory experience within the food service or hospitality industry.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for guests.
Leadership abilities to effectively manage a diverse team and foster collaboration.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Previous restaurant management or barista experience is advantageous.
