We are seeking an experienced and dependable Shift Supervisor to join our team at a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Toronto, ON. Your responsibilities include monitoring workflow, supporting team members to meet production targets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate brings hands-on supervisory experience, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be responsible for leading shift operations, coordinating production activities, and driving consistent performance across all production lines.

are Mon - Friday (Mornings)

Responsibilities

Oversee all production activities during the assigned shift to ensure efficient and consistent operation. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and assist with onboarding and training of new employees. Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to production line team members to achieve daily output targets. Identify and resolve minor production or equipment issues promptly to reduce downtime. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment in accordance with health and safety policies. Complete shift documentation, reports, and operational checklists accurately and on time. Communicate production updates, material shortages, and performance concerns to management. Enforce compliance with GMP, HACCP, and all food safety and quality assurance standards. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and process efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Shift Supervisor, Line Lead, or Production Supervisor is strongly preferred. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. Proven experience in the manufacturing industry. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
