We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing staff, handling cash transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during your shift.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards.
Assist in cooking and preparing food as needed, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Manage cash handling procedures, including processing transactions accurately through the POS system.
Monitor food safety practices and compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, fostering a positive dining experience.
Collaborate with other managers to implement strategies for improving efficiency and profitability.
Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
Skills
Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within the restaurant or food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience with cash handling procedures and proficiency in using POS systems.
Ability to cook and assist in food preparation when required.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Bartending experience is a plus but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
