Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Shift Supervisor

to oversee daily operations within our busy food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, restaurant management, and customer service. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and team performance in a fast-paced setting, whether in casual dining, fine dining, or catering services. The Shift Supervisor will ensure smooth shift transitions, supervise staff, and uphold operational excellence across all facets of the restaurant or hospitality venue.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficiency and high-quality service. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control. Manage POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and inventory control. Train, mentor, and develop staff members on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures. Monitor kitchen and dining area cleanliness, food safety compliance, and sanitation standards. Assist with staff scheduling, interviewing potential team members, and conducting performance evaluations. Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to maintain excellent customer satisfaction. Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste and optimize stock levels. Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and company policies. Support budgeting efforts by managing resources efficiently during shifts.

Experience



Proven supervisory experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus. Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience required. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams within hospitality or restaurant settings. Experience with staff training & development, interviewing candidates, and managing restaurant operations. Knowledge of inventory control, food production processes, catering services, and hospitality management principles. Prior experience in supervising food service teams in hotel or banquet settings is advantageous. Pay: $15.65-$17.00 per hour
