With approximately 450 staff, Peninsula Co-op operates 17 retail fuel and convenience centres, 10 liquor stores, 5 commercial card lock and home heating outlets, and a full-sized food store. Shift Supervisor

, Saanichton B.C. This is a full-time, permanent position providing an average of 40 hours each week. Our ideal candidate has flexible availability that must include weekdays and weekends.

Lead and support the produce team by keeping tasks on track and promoting teamwork Be the first point of contact for staff, ensuring they have what they need to succeed Address performance concerns professionally and uphold safety and service standards Encourage team development through training, motivation, and daily coaching Ensure freshness and quality of produce by rotating stock, checking dates, and removing unsellable items Maintain attractive, well-stocked displays that follow merchandising plans and seasonal trends Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with all health and sanitation standards Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory control while supporting financial targets Confidently step in for management when needed and help protect people, environment, and property

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Besides working with the best group of teammates and fantastic customers, you'll be stocking the store, cutting and packaging produce, and generally ensuring our customers & members are taken care of, and the location is clean and safe.
