Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food preparation and service.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Lead and manage a team of employees, providing training and support to enhance performance. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, following food handling guidelines. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new staff members. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial reporting. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus. Barista experience is advantageous but not required.
