Job Overview

A shift supervisor in a plastic manufacturing company manages and coordinates the activities of production workers during a specific shift. They ensure that production schedules and quality standards are met while prioritizing a safe working environment. Core responsibilities

Production oversight

: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of machine operators and material handlers to ensure production goals are met on time.

Quality control

: Ensure all plastic products meet quality standards and specifications by monitoring the production process and inspecting output.

Process improvement

: Identify opportunities to improve productivity and quality, minimize waste, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Troubleshooting

: Address equipment malfunctions and production issues, performing minor machine adjustments and coordinating repairs with the maintenance department.

Safety enforcement

: Enforce all company policies and safety procedures, conduct safety assessments and incident investigations, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
