You may even HAVE a job already, but we think you'll like THIS one better. As a Supervisor at Rosemary Rocksalt, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience. You will oversee food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and drive sales. Your responsibilities will include opening and closing the store, placing orders, updating and creating SOPs, managing inventory, and interviewing, hiring, and training your peers. You will also share duties with the front-of-house team and be a key player in maintaining the high standards of our establishment.
As a shift supervisor (keyleader), you'll be responsible for:
- Open and close the store
- Supervise food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met
- Stock and maintain inventory
- Place store orders and manage supplies
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure the store is clean and always organized
- Drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction
- Interact with and educate customers
- Handle cash and work a till
- Upsell products and make sandwiches
- Interview, hire, train, and coach staff
- Maintain a positive and motivating work environment
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
- Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Full availability
Able to work opening shifts (6:30am-3:00pm) & closing shifts (11am-7.30pm)
Full time availability, working 32-40 hours (depending on preference)
Qualifications:
One year prior food service experience
One year prior supervising experience
Able to read, write and comfortably communicate in English
Sales mentality, with a self-led attitude
Completion of secondary school is required
Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline or several years of experience in food preparation or service are considered assets
FOODSAFE Level I Certificate
