We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations at WELA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong ability to lead and motivate a team. As a Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational standards, and fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations, ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
Manage inventory and place daily orders
Manage food preparation and handling processes to guarantee quality and safety standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, promoting professional growth within the restaurant.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise during shifts.
Skills
Proven experience in food handling, or food preparation within a restaurant setting.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Proficient in interviewing techniques to select suitable candidates for various roles.
Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
