ServiceMaster Clean of Moncton is seeking an energetic professional for our \xe2\x80\x9cStaff Supervisor\xe2\x80\x9d Role. Reporting to the General Manager this individual is responsible to support the General Manager with daily Administrative/Production procedures and processes to facilitate efficient operation of the organization. The Matrix Staff Supervisor will be seen as a key part of our Management Team who posse\xe2\x80\x99s great leadership, personal skills, hands on skills with the self starter initiative critical for a small business.

JOB DESCRIPTION: STAFF SUPERVISOR

EMPLOYEE & SITE MANAGEMENT

STAFF:

  • Interviewing Candidates, Background Checks, Reference Checks, Hiring New Employees.
  • Administering Internal Training Programs, Security Compliance, Jobsite Location Training, Maintaining Continuous Improvement Records.
  • Ensuring that all staff comply with ServiceMaster Clean and Client Policies and Procedures
  • Enforce a Zero Tolerance Smoking Policy on Client Premises
WORKSAFE & SAFETY:
  • Key Liaison working with General Manager on work-safe programs and documentation. Maintain Health & Safety and Environmental Standards.
  • Working with General Manager to ensure staff have required training, certifications, WHMIS and understand and implementation of all Legislative mandates.
PAYROLL:
  • Working with the Office Manager, assist Time Sheets and Express Time
  • Employee Supplies Management & Distribution
EMPLOYEE & CUSTOMER DATA
  • Maintain Employee Folders, Maintain Spreadsheets and or other documentation required.
  • Maintain Zen Training for all staff.
EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES
  • Team player in managing supplies and Equipment, assist with payroll supplies & delivery as needed. Order Inventory and maintain inventory balances.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks & inspections on equipment.
JOBSITE TASKS
  • Understanding of Client Regular and Periodic Tasks
  • Assist with any task as needed to see through the job(s) which requires flexibility and ability to work hands on.
  • Ensure all shifts are meeting or exceedingly daily & periodic tasks.
On-Call:
  • This role requires on-call to assist with Absenteeism, Vacancy, Holidays.
  • On-Call & Flexibility is paramount and is considered a must within the role.
Technology & Industry Standards:
  • Continuous training and self education of Industry Standards and Technology.
  • Maintain training and daily operator inspections of equipment
General & Other Tasks
  • Perform daily & periodic client tasks and additional tasks as directed by the General Manager
  • Manage Staff vacations and Absenteeism.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, editing and proofreading skills required.
  • Computer literacy: Internet, Social Media, Excel, Word, Experience is Operating Software Platforms
  • High degree of professionalism when interacting with both internal and external clients.
  • Independent self-starter capable of managing and prioritizing multiple time sensitive projects and priorities.
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations and interact with various personalities at all levels in the firm diplomatically.
  • Ability to make decisions and adapt to changing work situations and ability to grasp and apply new ideas.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to help meet Business goals.
  • Must maintain a valid drivers license with a clear drivers abstract
JOB DUTIES (not limited to)
  • Staff Supervision, Commercial Janitorial Cleaning, Speciality Cleaning, Scheduling & Hiring Staff, Training new hires and provide continuous improvement training, maintain documentation, equipment operation & maintenance, working staff coverage(s)
PHYSICAL ABILITY
  • Lift more than 50lbs, Standing, Stair climbing, Kneeling, crouching
  • Operate Back Pack Vacuum (8-12lbs)
  • Operate Battery Lift Truck (50+ lbs)
  • Operate Cardboard bailer (50+ lbs)
  • Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling to clean floors by hand, push and pull objects, lift and move objects (Pallets), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.
  • Hand Dexterity

DRESS CODE:
  • Industrialized clothing
  • CSA Shoes worn at all time

  • Proper PPE worn as needed
BONDABLE
  • Must maintain Bondable Status while employed with ServiceMaster
  • Must provide Current RCMP Check, may require further Federal Checks as needed for Site Access
