We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency. This role is crucial in creating a positive work atmosphere and delivering an outstanding experience for our guests.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process to build a strong team. Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices in food service and hospitality. Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold our high standards. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant or bar area. Utilize POS systems for order processing and financial transactions. Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages employee engagement and development.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising staff within the food industry or hospitality sector. Strong interviewing skills to identify potential team members who align with our values. Knowledge of food service operations, including bartending experience is a plus. Excellent team management abilities with a focus on motivating staff. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order management and reporting. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both staff and customers.
