Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our food preparation meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Supervise kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operations during shifts Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards Manage the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and transaction accuracy Provide training and guidance to new employees on food handling, safety protocols, and customer service best practices Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service efficiency and guest satisfaction

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food industry Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Previous experience in interviewing, training, or mentoring staff is advantageous Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
