We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and team management, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Duties

Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions using the Micros POS system. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive work environment. Conduct interviews for new hires and assist in the onboarding process. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow and enhance overall dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred. Previous experience in customer service, serving, or hospitality roles is essential. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and training. Background in food handling practices and food safety regulations is required. Experience in barista roles or hotel environments is a plus.
