We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Duties
Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the POS system effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Assist in budgeting and financial management to meet operational goals.
Collaborate with upper management on staffing needs, including interviewing potential candidates.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
Strong background in inventory control and cash handling procedures.
Experience in casual dining, or banquet settings is preferred.
Demonstrated ability in staff training, development, and team management.
Knowledge of hospitality management principles and kitchen management practices.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience in shift management and supervising teams.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
