We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
Provide training and support to staff in areas such as food handling, customer service, and hospitality.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance their dining experience.
Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
Experience with POS systems.
Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team management and leadership.
Prior experience in customer service within the hospitality sector is essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
