THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for dynamic individuals wanting a flexible work schedule (year-round) to join the team at the Kinsmen Aquatic Centre. The Shift Supervisor, reporting to the Aquatic Supervisor or designate, serves as the primary contact for on-duty staff and patrons at the Kinsmen Aquatic Centre (KAC). The Shift Supervisor supports the efficient, safe, clean and fun operation of the KAC in accordance with the established policies and procedures.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Facilitate Aquatic Programs Supervise on-duty staff and ensure patron safety Deliver exceptional customer service Perform other related duties as requires For full details on the duties, please see attached job description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Senior Lifeguard Status 2 years Aquatic experience National Lifeguard Lifesaving Swim Instructor Lifesaving Instructor Aquatic Fitness Instructor Award (AFLCA, CALA, WATERART) or equivalent internal certification IFA Instructor Intermediate First Aid, CPR, AED WHMIS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

National Lifeguard Instructor

Salary Range:

$25.22 - $31.53 per hour depending upon experience.
