Big T's BBQ West Springs is seeking a reliable, hands-on Front of House (FOH) Shift Supervisor to support evening operations in a fast-casual restaurant environment.
This role is ideal for someone comfortable leading a small team, stepping in where needed, and assisting with both front-of-house and light kitchen duties.
This is a part-time leadership position with a consistent weekly schedule.
Schedule & Hours
Thursday to Monday
5 shifts per week
Evening shifts during the week
Longer shifts on Saturday and Sunday
Approximately 25-30 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support all on-shift staff (typically 2-3 team members per evening). Provide hands-on support, including assisting with food preparation as needed.
Ensure a smooth service flow and effective communication between the front and back of house. Handle guest questions, concerns, and issue resolution professionally.
Oversee proper kitchen closing procedures and end-of-night standards
Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Work closely with senior management to meet operational standards
Qualifications
Previous experience as a FOH Supervisor, Shift Lead, or similar leadership role
Comfortable working in a fast-casual or small-team restaurant setting
Willingness to assist with light kitchen duties when required
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Reliable availability for Thursday-Monday shifts
Valid Pro-Serve certification (required)
Compensation
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Tip out paid over and above the hourly rate
