We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid background in the food industry. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food preparation, safety, and service while supervising a team of staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash handling.
Lead and motivate team members to achieve operational goals while fostering a positive work environment.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Oversee inventory management and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
Train staff on restaurant policies, procedures, and best practices in hospitality and service.
Collaborate with upper management to implement strategies for improving restaurant performance.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is required.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is crucial.
