Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining quality standards and adherence to food safety regulations.
Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Coordinate kitchen activities including cooking, food production, and inventory control to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Train, develop, and motivate staff members to deliver outstanding customer service while adhering to company policies.
Supervise staff scheduling, shift assignments, and ensure proper staffing levels for each shift.
Monitor food safety practices, sanitation standards, and compliance with health regulations across all operational areas.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
Conduct staff interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and support onboarding processes for new team members.
Assist with budgeting, cost control measures, and inventory management to meet financial targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales, labor costs, and other operational metrics through POS systems.
Support catering events or banquet services as needed to expand service offerings.
Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.
Requirements
Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or hotel experience is highly desirable.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
Demonstrated supervisory skills with a track record of training & development of staff members.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the hospitality industry.
Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food management processes.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism.
Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates and providing clear instructions to staff.
Familiarity with catering services or banquet operations is a plus.
