Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the team to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes while adhering to food safety guidelines. Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions using the POS system, including Micros POS. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster a positive work environment and enhance performance. Conduct interviews for new hires and assist in the onboarding process. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices. Excellent supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills. Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Micros POS is a plus. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous. Barista experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
