We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This role requires effective team management and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts. Lead, train, and motivate team members to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Manage cash handling procedures, including processing transactions accurately through the POS system. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations. Assist in kitchen operations as needed, including cooking and food preparation. Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is essential. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling practices. Proven team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead others. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Pay: $17.00-$20.30 per hour
