Objective

To lead a production shift at Canplex Profiles Inc., ensuring that scheduled production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety to help Canplex fulfill its mission by leading by example, casting our vision and displaying Canplex values.

Responsible to:

Plant Manager

Responsible for:

Leading the crew, the products being produced and the production floor

Expected Results

Oversee and manage the production crew according to Canplex standards.

Follow the production plan

Monitor product quality, address issues promptly, and implement solutions to minimize downtime or scrap

People Leadership ensuring team development, performance, and overall production effectiveness through strong leadership.

Key Tasks:

Oversee timely shipping of finished goods.

Keep the warehouse organized.

Manage incoming materials and ensure proper placement.

General Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all activities of the assigned shift, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to the production plan

Provide direct support and guidance to crew members, ensuring clarity of tasks and responsibilities

Plan and assign daily duties based on production schedules and operational requirements

Leadership Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily activities of the team.

Assist in training new staff.

Provide performance feedback to management.

Facilitate communication between departments.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role (1+ year preferred)

Skills:MS Office, ERP systems, and quality control.

Certifications: WHMIS, First Aid.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
