Job Description


Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Sheltered Housing Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a sheltered housing facility and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the facility. The Sheltered Housing Manager will be responsible for the welfare of all residents and ensuring that their living environment is safe and comfortable. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the overall operations of the sheltered housing facility
  • Ensuring that all units are occupied and that new residents are welcomed.
  • Responding to resident enquiries and concerns and addressing them appropriately.
  • Coordinating with necessary services to ensure the facilities are kept up to standard and any needed repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Working with management preparing budgets, financial reports, and other administrative tasks related to sheltered housing, including complying with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Working with local authorities, health professionals, and other support services to ensure that residents receive appropriate care, including those related to health and social care.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all relevant documents, such as leases, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
Requirements:
  • A background in housing management or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience managing a facility or complex, preferably sheltered housing.
  • Strong communication, organization, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to sheltered housing.
