Position Title: Shelter Housing Support Worker

The Shelter Housing Support Worker is primarily responsible for supporting shelter guests in obtaining permanent, long-term housing and providing individual and family support and assistance related to housing for persons who are identified as unsheltered and/or at high risk of becoming unsheltered. Programming by housing support workers consists of outreach supports connecting with unsheltered community members, collaborating with other agencies and organizations supporting the unsheltered community with advocacy, supports and resources to remove barriers for appropriate and successful housing.

This position requires a class 5 Driver's License.
