Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Stocker. This role is essential in maintaining a well-stocked, clean, and organized retail environment to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Bilingual abilities and customer service experience are considered valuable assets. This position offers an opportunity to develop versatile skills including merchandising, inventory management, and basic maintenance.

Duties

Restock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed according to merchandising standards Assist customers with locating items and provide excellent customer service Operate equipment such as forklifts safely for moving heavy or bulk items (training provided if needed) Maintain cleanliness of the store, including cleaning shelves and work areas Process transactions at the cashier station, including cashiering duties when required Organize stockroom and storage areas for easy access and inventory management Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure store equipment and facilities are in good working order Support inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment schedules

Skills

Previous experience in retail sales or stocking is preferred but not required Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus but training can be provided Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a broader customer base Excellent communication skills for teamwork and customer interactions Knowledge of merchandising principles to optimize product displays Basic cleaning skills to maintain store appearance and hygiene standards Cashiering experience is beneficial for handling transactions efficiently Good organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain orderliness in storage areas Ability to perform light maintenance tasks as needed

Pay: $18.00 per hour
