We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and installation, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of construction practices. The Sheet Metal Mechanic will be responsible for producing and installing metal components for various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Fabricate sheet metal components using hand tools and power tools. Install metal systems, including ductwork, roofing, and siding, with precision and attention to detail. Collaborate with other tradespeople including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians to ensure seamless integration of metal components into overall construction projects. Conduct restoration work on existing metal structures to maintain integrity and functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation is essential. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking equipment, and welding techniques. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
