Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

Sheet Metal Work

Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications and requirements. Install ductwork, dampers, take-offs, canvas connectors, diffusers, grilles, etc. Install furnaces, HRVs, VAVs, fan coils, and other HVAC equipment. Fabricate plenum transitions and other components from flat stock material. Install rooftop units and make-up air systems, including associated drops and distribution.

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Install and commission small AC systems (e.g., splits, PTACs, fan coils). Demonstrate intermediate understanding of low-voltage control circuits and temperature controls. Conduct warranty service investigations and provide clear feedback to supervisors/project managers. Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.

General Duties

Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Communicate effectively both verbally and electronically.

Required Skills

Proven experience in sheet metal installation. Familiarity with applicable codes and safety practices. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret blueprints and designs. Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments. Reliable transportation.

Base Pay: $42.00-$50.00 per hour
