Sheeter Operator position on our growing

Job purpose

Operates sheeter equipment. Ensure crackers are meeting quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

The associate's primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
Operate sheeter equipment. Adjust feed rolls of the machine. Perform quality checks. Communicate any issues with supervisor and oven operators. Update metric board. Follow product specifications. Follow sheeter profiles. Troubleshoot any sheeter issues. Conduct the mixing and loading of ingredients into seed hopper. Handle Re-work dough. Control dump time / Lay time. Record downtime and sheeter scrap. Follow SOP's including required paperwork and ERP requirements. Ensure work area is clean prior to the start of the following shift. Complete changeovers, including full washdown of equipment. Operate power walkie (once licensed) to move dough bins. Perform other assigned duties. Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations. Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines. Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Good interpersonal skills Basic mathematics knowledge Work well with teams. Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills. High degree of integrity. Ability to use independent judgment to accomplish goals. Great attention to detail with accuracy. Adapt positively to continuous change. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working conditions

Work indoors. May be exposed to hot temperatures from ovens. May work close to others, usually within a few feet. Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.

Physical requirements

Standing involved. May repeat the same movement. Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets. Ability to bend or twist their body. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
