NCE is currently seeking

Sheet Metal Worker

for commercial and Industrial installations. Proud Member of Local 504, NCE is looking for skilled Sheet Metal workers. Sheeter/Decker, Sheeter/Decker Assistant, Material handlers wanted. Hourly rate based on Union Rates. Benefits and Pension provided by union. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and maintenance person tasks, with the ability to work with various hand tools and read blueprints. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and a keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints Utilize hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and mold metal sheets Perform repairs and maintenance on existing metal structures Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure project timelines are met Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

Proven experience in sheet metal work or related fields such as construction or carpentry Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings Strong skills in using hand tools and machinery relevant to sheet metal fabrication General maintenance person experience is desirable, showcasing versatility in skills Self-motivated leader with a strong work ethic Physically demanding work environment requiring a strong manual dexterity Own reliable transportation for all seasons; Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record
