SOV Roofing & Waterproofing Inc (SOV) is a family-owned and operated business with over 15 years of experience. We specialize in commercial and residential sheet metal fabrication and installation (Metal Siding, Metal Roofs, Architectural Sheet Metal) in the lower mainland. SOV is seeking full time, skilled sheet metal installer/fabricator, with a positive attitude, ready for new challenges, highly motivated to join our team. We offer an open and friendly working environment.

This position does not require Canadian work experience

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications.

What we expect from you:

Minimum 6 months sheet metal experience or completed pre-apprentices. Experience with local constructions methods and materials is an asset (but not required) Responsible and organized. Work independently and collaborating with the team. Reliable Transportation Valid class 5 driving license. Able to be physically active Able to communicate effectively with the customer, suppliers, and team members. Able to read/interpret blueprints and specifications. Able to measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Able to operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Able to put together parks to create assemblies of architectural sheet metal. Cut materials using power and hand tools. Able to take decision by yourself during the installation to archive the final assembly. Commitment to high standards for quality and excellence in all aspects of the job. Able to follow the management team guidance. Able to follow the safety rules as per management and WBC requirements.

What you are going to do:

Manufacture sheet metal as per drawings/specifications.
