We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Helper/Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and mechanics, with the ability to work with various hand tools and equipment. This role involves interpreting blueprints and schematics, performing installations, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all projects.
Must have own hand tools (drill, snips, hammer, measuring tape, etc), and the ability to transport oneself/tools to job sites (Greater Edmonton area only).
Responsibilities
Help the installer, must be able to follow instructions accurately.
Read and interpret blueprints and HVAC layouts.
Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal components.
Collaborate with coworkers, other trades and builder representatives such as to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Proven experience in sheet metal work or related construction fields is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
