Job Description

D.F. Brown Roofing has been serving the Niagara Region for 30+ years and continues to grow and expand our business providing quality roofing, maintenance and sheet metal for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings throughout the Niagara Region. We are currently looking for a motivated and dependable Sheet Metal Shop Labourer to join our team and support the fabrication and installation of custom metal eave systems, flashings, downpipes and light siding work.

Responsibilities:

Assist with sheet metal fabrication in our shop (flashing, trim and downpipes) Install metal components on roofs and building exteriors Use hand and power tools safety and efficiently Operate sheet metal tools and equipment including brake and slitter Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualification:

Experience with metal fabrication or siding preferred Comfortable working outdoors and at heights Ability to read measurements accurately Physically capable of lifting materials Punctual and reliable with good attitude
Preferred Assets:

Working at Heights Valid driver's license Background in commercial or industrial roofing/sheet metal
Wage based on experience - $20.00 to $28.00 /hour

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
