Position: Shear and Brake Fabricator / HVAC Assembler

Equipment and Machinery Experience

Press Brake Shear Notcher Forklift Plasma Machine

Key Responsibilities / Specific Skills

Read and interpret specifications and blueprints, or follow verbal instructions Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products Operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment Ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule

Qualifications

Journeyman Sheet Metal or Apprentice certification (asset) Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Grade 12 education or equivalent Shop and HVAC experience required Strong ability to read blueprints Flexibility to work overtime (evenings, weekends) Forklift and crane operation experience (asset) Strong management and leadership skills Superior communication and interpersonal skills Mechanical aptitude with ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment Proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure Physically fit, energetic, and independent

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.)
