Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Project Coordinator to lead the Strengthening Families Initiative (SFI) at CDNBCA. This critical role requires a well-rounded individual who brings a balance of clinical and administrative expertise, along with community-centered values. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a deep understanding of social services and/or education systems and a passion for supporting families through dynamic, culturally responsive programming.
Responsibility:
Coordinate the SFI services at CDNBCA, including in-person individual and family clinical support, crisis intervention, school advocacy, food security, court preparation and accompaniment, job search assistance, and additional wraparound services as they are developed.
Assist in the planning and delivery of the Strengthening Families Program (SFP) as directed by the SFI Manager.
Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support, adapt, and strengthen program development.
Train, coach, and supervise internal CASS Social Service Workers and social work students in developing CPSP action plans, implementing intervention strategies, conducting SFI recruitment and referrals, to carrying out day-to-day tasks.
Oversee case management processes, ensuring holistic support for families through tailored action plans, regular follow-ups, and appropriate referrals.
Identify patterns, trends, and service gaps to improve intervention strategies and program deliverables by monitoring outcomes, collecting data, and conducting ongoing evaluations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, deliverables and outcomes, evaluation tools, and other records.
Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, tracking project expenses, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines, and supporting the SFI Manager in preparing financial reports as needed.
Liaise with external partners such as Batshaw Youth and Family Services and other stakeholders, as directed.
Conduct community outreach and promotional efforts to increase visibility and engagement with SFI programming.
Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution support to families and individuals when necessary.
