We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator / Seamstress to join our expanding production team in Toronto, ON. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and excels in precision sewing. We offer a supportive, collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth. Pay rate is $25 per hour, based on experience. Shift timings are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
Operate industrial sewing machines to perform precise double stitching and other advanced sewing techniques that meet quality and production standards.
Read and accurately follow sewing patterns, specifications, and production instructions.
Work efficiently with a variety of fabrics and materials while minimizing waste and preventing damage.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation to support smooth production flow.
Consistently meet or exceed daily production and quality targets through careful workmanship and teamwork.
Qualifications:
Able to perform efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Proficient in operating single-needle, double-needle, and serger machines.
Demonstrated experience in industrial sewing, with solid expertise in double stitching.
Open to completing a short trial period prior to full-time employment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team setting.
