We're Hiring: Sewer and Water Excavator Operator
Confident on the controls? Ready to dig in?
We're looking for a dependable Excavator Operator with a strong focus on safety to join our sewer and water crew. You'll handle excavation with accuracy, work alongside your team, and help complete projects on schedule and to specification.
What You'll Do
Operate excavators for trenching, grading, and utility installation Use attachments such as buckets, hammers, and compactors safely and effectively Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and maintenance Work cautiously around underground utilities and nearby structures Adhere to site safety practices and report hazards right away Communicate clearly with crew leaders and follow directions Pitch in with general labour tasks when required
What We're Looking For
1500+ hours of excavator operating experience preferred Valid driver's license (Class 1 considered an asset) Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret construction plans Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Team-oriented with a safety-first approach
