The Department of Mechanical Engineering invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses during the following session(s):

2022-2023 Regular Session
Course Number, Section, and Name: ME 329.3 (02) Collaborative Design and Manufacturing
Term and Course Dates: Winter Session (January 4 to April 30, 2023)
CRN: 25919
Delivery Mode: Lecture, Lab
Course Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday 11:30am to 12:50pm (lecture), Friday 2:30pm to 3:20pm (tutorial), Friday 4:00pm to 5:20 pm (lab).
Expected Enrollment Limit: 95
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and be registered as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
Previous industrial, manufacturing and university teaching experience, and previous experience as an advisor or industrial sponsor for engineering design projects, would be very strong assets.

Term and Course Dates: Winter Session (January 4 to April 30, 2023)

Course Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30am to 10:20pm (lecture)
Expected Enrollment Limit: 95
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) is an advantage.
A strong record of achievement in activities related to engineering analysis and/or university teaching experience would be very strong assets.

Course Number, Section, and Name: ME 495.6 Industrial Design Project
Term and Course Dates: Winter Session (January 4 to April 30, 2023)

Delivery Mode: Lecture
Course Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday 4:00pm to 5:20pm (lectures, term 1), TBA (lectures, term 2).
Expected Enrollment Limit: 90
Location: Saskatoon
Qualifications: Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering and have previous university teaching experience engineering design courses. They must be registered as a Professional Engineer with the Association in of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and be familiar with Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board requirements.

A valid driver's license is required for any off campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
