The Department of Forest Resources Management seeks to hire a part-time lecturer in 2025W-Term 2 (Jan 1 to Apr 30, 2026)
UFOR 523 - Strategic Urban Forest Planning and Management (1.5 credits)
Application of urban forestry concepts to strategic urban forest planning and management.
The successful candidate will deliver core lectures; coordinate with guest lecturers; organize and run lab sections; organize tests, mid-term exams, and grading; and hold office hours weekly. Qualifications: Applicants must have a PhD in Urban Forestry, or allied field, and must have experience in delivering graduate courses to a high standard. Experience in strategic planning, urban forestry innovations, and/or urban forest management is required.
