Sessional Lecturer, PHAR 124, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition
The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2025-2026 Winter Term:
Course Number, Section, and Name: PHAR 124 (01) Foundational Sciences 4: Introduction to Pharmaceutics
Term and Course Dates: Winter Session (January 1 to April 30)

Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a Lecture
Course Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30 AM to 10:20 AM
Expected Enrollment Limit: 85
Qualifications:

• Practicing pharmacist in SK (current)
• Current registered Ph.D. student in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences (only Ph.D. students can apply for this opportunity)
• Past experience teaching PHARM D students
• Pharmaceutical research experience in drug delivery

Course Information: Students will learn to describe and explain pharmaceutical dosage forms, devices, and designs, explain principles of extemporaneous compounding, and will differentiate physiochemical properties of pharmaceutical formulations. Students will apply knowledge gained to select and explain various dosage forms for clinical situations and integrate concepts from foundational sciences courses.
