The Centre for Health and Wellness invites applications for sessional instructors in the Therapeutic Recreation - Gerontology program for the Winter 2026 term (January 2026 to April 2026). We are seeking instructors who can teach distance learning/online courses (no requirement to be local to Lethbridge) and for main campus courses (must be able to be on-campus during the day for 3-5 hours per week).
Position Details
We seek dynamic individuals strongly committed to educating and inspiring students and demonstrating a passion for teaching and learning. The ideal candidates demonstrate a respectful approach and are self-motivated and learner-centred. Individuals will work collaboratively, demonstrating engagement in the program and as employees of Lethbridge Polytechnic.

Required Qualifications
Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy/Therapeutic Recreation or a related degree
Five or more experience in a Therapeutic Recreation setting
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in education or relevant discipline
Salary
Commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the current Lethbridge Polytechnic Faculty Association Collective Agreement.
