Haskayne School of Business

at the University of Calgary invites applications for a

Sessional Instructor

to teach Winter 2026 ENTI 529 LEC 01 (Applied Capstone Project) on Mondays/Wednesdays 14:00-15:15. Classes in the Winter 2026 semester run from January 12 to April 14, 2026. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between April 17 to April 28, 2026, if applicable.

The calendar description of the course:

"Provides a framework to pursue an entrepreneurial thinking experience, to support knowledge, skills development and reflection. Outcomes will include a valuable project deliverable, and reflection writings. Includes placements, individual and/or team projects."

Qualifications



Graduate degree (MBA, MSc) is required. PhD or DBA degree , or completion of the program requirements at the PhD level (i.e., ABD - all but dissertation), are preferred. Previous experience teaching this course is strongly preferred. Industry experience relevant to the topic of this course is preferred. Understanding of core strategy and entrepreneurship frameworks is required. Experience teaching strategy or entrepreneurship and innovation courses at the post-secondary level is required. Experience with project-based courses is required.
