Job Description

The Department of Music at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a sessional instructor in Applied Percussion for the 2023-2024 academic year. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course.

MUS-2211/3211 (Fall), MUS-2212/3212 (Winter) - Applied Percussion

This course includes individual studio instruction of the techniques and artistry of percussion performance.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant will hold a minimum of a master\'s degree in percussion performance, experience in both solo and collaborative performance, and a substantial record of successful percussion teaching at the high school and/or university level.

Preference will be given to the qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster and full-time and term contract Faculty Members of the Academic unit.
