The Department of Chemistry has an opening for a Sessional Instructor during the forthcoming Fall 2025 semester, subject to final budgetary approval. Individuals qualified to teach the following courses are encouraged to apply.

CHEM 3610 - Spectroscopic Structural Analysis
This course examines ultraviolet, visible, infrared and n.m.r. spectroscopy and mass spectrometry in terms of the physical processes responsible for the energy absorption and ion generation. Problems associated with the recording and interpretation of spectra are addressed and the application of spectral analysis to structural identification is stressed.
Three lecture hours and three hours laboratory a week
T-Th 8:30-9:45am
NOTE: Although this course includes a weekly laboratory, the sessional instructor will be responsible for teaching the lectures only.
