As a Services Deal Desk Manager at Snowflake, you\'ll be at the forefront of the company\'s growth efforts working in close partnership with our Professional Services organization in the construct, review, approval and negotiation of business opportunities. In addition to this, you will also act as the coordinator between the Professional Services team and other corporate functions as business opportunties are evaluated, negotiated and closed. Finally, you\'ll develop relationships at all levels and across the entire company in support of your deal function.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Partner with the services organization and become a trusted advisor for the deal construct and negotiation process of services transactions.
  • Coordinate the flow of information across multiple groups, such as services, finance, legal, revenue accounting, operations, etc. to facilitate the deal process.
  • Ensure scope of work, pricing, and commercial terms aligns to company guidelines
  • In partnership with other company functions, help set metrics, policies, process and procedures and assist or drive their implementation.
  • Create and develop the internal relationships with groups across the company to help facilitate the deal process.
  • Review quantitative models to estimate the economic impact of pursuing various strategies / opportunities / partnerships
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERTISE :
  • 10+ years of relevant services deal desk, finance, contracts and/or sales operations experience.
  • Experience in selling, scoping or consulting for Professional Services
  • Ability to read, understand and draft contractual business terms and conditions for services engagements.
  • Understanding of revenue recognition principles and US GAAP.
  • Ability to break down complex ideas and issues and communicate in simple terms to different levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a desire to help others succeed.
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERTISE :
  • Previous experience with complex contract negotiations and long sales cycles.
OFFICE ATTENDANCE :
  • Candidate must be available to work in the local Snowflake office several days during the week. This is essential for collaboration, team meetings, and maintaining a cohesive work environment
