Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Service Worker II, you will be responsible for readying supplies, and disinfecting instruments and specialty equipment for immediate use/reuse by unit staff. You will transport patients (clients, residents) and equipment to and from different units when needed and distribute and replenish hospital supplies throughout units. You may also transports lab specimens, blood and blood products, clean patient care equipment and transport patient charts. You will report any concerns regarding supplies and safety issues to Unit Managers and perform other duties as required. In addition to the duties of a Service Worker II, you will ensure that exam rooms and multipurpose rooms are accurately stocked and that specialty equipment required by the medical and nursing staff is available.- Classification: Service Worker II
