Your Opportunity:Working with Medical Device Reprocessing Technicians. Respect confidentially of patient information especially concerning details as per hospital policy. Change linen bags in the department. Load and unload cart washer. Unload washer disinfector. Replenish supplies in Assemble Tables. Unload sterilized Carts. Transfers clean cart to case cart holding area. Clean Eye Wash Station Area, Counters, Shelves, Station Carts and Tables. Transport hand washed instruments from decontam to assembly area and distribute to designated areas. Transport dirty instruments from assembly area to decontam to be re-processed.Description:As a Service Worker I, you will be responsible for transporting patients (clients/residents) and equipment to and from different patient care areas within a hospital site. You will distribute and replenish hospital supplies throughout the units and clean equipment and patient care areas as directed. You may also transport lab specimens, blood and blood products, and patient charts. You will report any concerns regarding supplies and safety issues to Unit Managers and perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:Fluent in speaking/writing English. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Demonstrate ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time and lift or assist in lifting up to 22.5 kg. Must possess verbal, numerical and clerical abilities; near-visual and auditory acuity; motor coordination; eye-hand coordination. Reliable, cooperative and ability to demonstrate effective service attitude.
