Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable

Automotive Service Valet Porter

to support our service department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of vehicle flow within the service area and providing exceptional customer experiences. The Service Porter is responsible for the care and movement of vehicles, maintaining the cleanliness of the service area, and assisting service advisors and technicians as needed.

Schedule: Monday to Friday with rotation Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assisting with vehicle intake and delivery. Safely move vehicles to designated service areas, parking lots, or customer pick-up zones. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking areas, and customer waiting areas. Conduct light cleaning and detailing of customer vehicles if required. Perform vehicle inspections for cleanliness, damage, or any maintenance needs. Assist with vehicle fueling, charging electric vehicles, and checking fluid levels as necessary. Support the service team with administrative tasks, such as retrieving service tickets and documentation. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and protocols at all times. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide high-quality customer service. Assist with inventory management, including moving and organizing parts or equipment as directed. Report any service issues, damage, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean work environment. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform duties that may include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in a similar role within an automotive dealership or service center. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and service operations. Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
