Job Overview

As a Non-Certified Service Technician, you will assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems. This is an ideal role for candidates looking to build a career in the skilled trades without requiring formal certification.

Responsibilities

Perform basic service and maintenance tasks on equipment, vehicles, and systems Service vehicles, carpet and floor machines including sweepers and vacuums Assist other technicians with repairs, diagnostics, and installations Respond to service calls and follow work orders Maintain accurate service records and documentation Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Communicate clearly with customers and team members Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and service vehicles Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Able to use technology including tablets, computers, scanners and other electronic devices Other duties as required

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED 1+ year(s) of mechanical, technical, or maintenance experience preferred Strong interest in learning a skilled trade Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of conditions (indoors/outdoors) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Excellent work ethic and reliability Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to travel on occasion Willingness to attend training or pursue certification as needed
