Summary

As a Climate Control Service Technician, you will increase levels of customer service by performing preventive maintenance and making repairs on equipment, along with equipment deliveries and installs as needed in the most effective and cost-efficient way possible to avoid down time at the customer location.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES \xe2\x80\xa2 Service equipment as required and avoid unnecessary down-time, ensure proper working condition of equipment when leaving the shop \xe2\x80\xa2 Dismantle, reassemble, and rebuild equipment as needed

• Deliver and install climate control related equipment (as needed) \xe2\x80\xa2 Diagnose and repair standard mechanical equipment problems \xe2\x80\xa2 Fabricate parts as needed \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs regular and service level safety inspections on equipment \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintains a clean and safe working environment (service truck or shop work station) \xe2\x80\xa2 Meet all company, governmental and equipment-specific safety requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Gas Technician G3 certificate or general heater experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years\' experiences. \xe2\x80\xa2 Sound technical knowledge of propane/ng appliances, equipment.
• Oil burning equipment knowledge an asset, willing to train \xe2\x80\xa2 Willing to obtain WHMIS and TDG training/certification. \xe2\x80\xa2 Valid driver\'s license with three (3) years\' experience and clean drivers abstract.
• DZ driver\'s license an asset, willing to train \xe2\x80\xa2 Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on a regular basis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent customer service skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communications skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically mobile computing devices. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liquid propane fitter (LP certificate) and asset, willing to train \xe2\x80\xa2 Construction Heater Service and maintenance technician 1 (CH-SM1 certificate) and asset, willing to train.
