Job Description

The Accurate Technology Group is a leader in the industry for low voltage wiring, home automation, audio, security systems and much more! In business for over 36 years, we primarily service newly constructed homes and condominiums in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Due to ongoing growth, we are currently seeking a Service Technician primarily specializing in Home Automation. You will be primarily responsible for, but not limited to:



Control4 Systems



Installation, configuration, and programming of

Control4 systems

(lighting, AV, shades, thermostats, and automation scenes) Perform troubleshooting, firmware updates, and integration with third-party devices Maintain and service existing Control4 installations

Home Automation Systems



Install and program

lighting control systems

,

smart thermostats

, and

automation scenes

across various platforms Integrate devices into customer networks for seamless operation and user control Provide training and technical support to clients

Alarm Systems



Install, program, and service

Honeywell alarm systems

(ProSeries and Vista panels preferred) Conduct system testing and customer tutorial

Camera Systems



Install and configure

IP and analog camera systems

from various manufacturers Perform networking, NVR/DVR setup, and remote access configuration Troubleshoot various issues

Audio Systems



Install and configure multi-room audio systems, with a focus on Denon and Yamaha equipment as well as Control4 Audio Run and terminate speaker wiring, connect amplifiers and receivers, and calibrate systems for optimal performance

Requirements:



Must be able to read, understand and execute jobs as per quote and floor plans Must have good reading, writing, and oral communication skills in English Complete work orders with a high degree of accuracy Must be able and willing to work in all types of weather Must be able and willing to perform physical duties; including lifting up to 50 lbs Must be able and willing to climb a ladder; both indoor and outdoor Must be able to follow Manitoba Workplace Health and Safety Guidelines Maintaining job sites in a clean and orderly fashion Must have experience using power tools Must possess a valid Manitoba Driver's License Must have Control4 certification Must have own vehicle Must provide a clean Criminal Background Check Must provide a clean Vulnerable Persons Background Check

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Overtime as Required. Evening and weekend work available as well.

Salary:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour / Dependent upon experience
